The Jugs batting cage kits have everything you need to get started practicing baseball or softball in your backyard. This is a tunnel batting cage frame including the net and an industrial-strength galvanized steel tubing and other accessories you need for your backyard practice setup.
This is a 70ft long x 12ft wide x 12ft high batting cage from Jugs backyard batting nets. The frame has a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the craftsmanship and construction of the cage.
The Frame
The ground sleeves on this batting cage is 2 5/16" in diameter with 2" uprights and crossbars. This galvanized strength will last for years and keep you practicing baseball and softball at your home batting cage.
The Net
JUGS Batting Cage Nets are available in twisted knot polyethylene or polyester and include a Hitter’s Door for easy entry and exit into the batting cage. The twisted knots have superior strength and durability compared to competitor nets. The dark black nets offer the best UV protection from the sun. These nets are also pre-stretched using a hydraulic effect that reduces shrink over time.
Polyethlene vs Polyester
Polyethylene netting doesn’t absorb water so is better for for wet or humid climates—If you're worried about rotting, this net will help prevent that. If you're wanting the absolute best in quality and strength, the polyester net is the one for you. Poly has the highest breaking strength and is abrasion resistant. Its also mildew resistant and aids with rot prevention.
Hitter and Pitcher Training Mat
